Hi, my name is Stuart, and I have been painting homes locally for more than 30 years.

I left the army in the early eighties and soon entered the paint spraying industry where I developed my abilities by providing coatings for industrial and MOD components.

 

Later, I moved into the marine industry and along with spraying boats I also developed my brushing and rolling skills on the internal fixtures and fittings of brand-new luxury motorboats.

​

Together, these jobs provided a strong foundation of practical skills as well as a great understanding of paint and how to select the best type for the job at hand.

​

I started Onsite Paint as a way to utilise everything I had learned about for homeowners and soon learned that my background in spraying and handpainted meant that I could provide highly flexible decorating services.

​

Spraying is quick-drying, which means I can apply three times as much paint onto surfaces in a day than hand painting, which means I can charge less but still provide a beautiful finish.

​

Hand painting meanwhile, ensures that I can offer a wider range of services, often resulting in projects to transform entire kitchens and even whole houses using the best method for each and every surface.

Attention to detail has always been foremost in my work, which is why I always provide a quote in person. When I visit your home we will discuss your decorating needs and I will advice what i believe is the best approach based on my experience.
